We collect this information to personalize your experience, improve our web site, improve customer service, process reward transactions and to periodically contact you via email. Account Information

Account information includes, but is not limited to, the following data:

  • Businesses on Perkville can see the email addresses of people they've given and/or redeemed points to. They can only see a person's full name after that person has explicitly accepted points from the business. We will not inform a business that you declined their points if you do so.

If you a user opts to publicly display his transactions with a business, then we reserve the right to publicly display his first name and last initial along with certain transaction information for that business. We encourage users to publicly display their transaction information so that people can learn where other people, including their friends, frequent and so that we can making earning points fun by showing users how they rank against each other.

Users can control if their transaction information is public or private for each business in the privacy section of their settings.

Transaction Information

Transaction information includes, but is not limited to, the following data:

  • Email address of customer of the transaction
  • Name of customer of the transaction (if customer has accepted points from the business)
  • Date and time a transaction took place
  • Product or service in the transaction
  • Business employee that performed the transaction
  • Number of points added or redeemed by the transaction

Employees that have access to Perkville through their business can see all data for transactions from their business. Users can see their own transactions across the businesses they transact with on Perkville. Businesses and users cannot see data for transactions they're not a party to unless a user has opted to publicly display transaction information for a business.

If you a user opts to publicly display his transactions with a business, then we reserve the right to publicly display certain transaction information. We will NOT publicly display his email address or the employee that processed the transaction.

Employee Information

We collect information from businesses' employees using Perkville including but not limited to the following data:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Transactions the employee processes

This information is made available to other employees in the same business. If someone is an employee of more than one business on Perkville, each transaction is associated with one business and only the employees from that business can see those transactions, not employees of other businesses that the person is employed by.

Businesses Information

We collect business information, including but not limited to, the following data:

  • Business name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Web Address
  • Business categories
  • Reward program
  • How to earn points
  • How to redeem points

We believe it's in businesses' best interest to make this data as widely available as possible so that the business can get more exposure and customers. Consequently, we treat this information as public and make it available to anyone on our site as well as make it available offsite to other companies such as search engines.

Activity and Log Data

We store Perkville users' log and activity information including but not limited to the following data:

  • Pages viewed
  • Browser type
  • IP address
  • Requested URL
  • Browser language
  • Referring URL
  • Date and time

We use this information to improve our site and service.

Transfer of Information

We use third party providers for the following services:

  • Host our web servers
  • Send emails
  • Perform tracking and reporting

We may share information with these providers but they are not permitted to use your personal information other than to enable Perkville to function. We will not sell, rent, or otherwise provide Account Information or Transaction Information to any third party, except as otherwise described in this privacy policy.

We maintain the option to share non-personal information, in the aggregate, to help current or potential business relationships and to promote Perkville. Examples include, the total number of users on Perkville and the total number of businesses on Perkville.


Cookies are small files that Perkville transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow this) that enables Perkville to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Our cookies are linked to your login information so that you can use Perkville from your computer throughout the day without logging in each time you visit us.


We welcome your feedback. Feel free to submit enhancement requests, register complaints or ask questions on our partner site, GetSatisfaction. The information that you enter on GetSatisfaction is subject to their privacy policy and terms of service.


We may disclose information about our users to third parties if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
